Musicien autodidacte, je suis un passionné de tout ce qui touche aux différentes cornemuses.
C'est en mars 2000, de retour d'un voyage en Écosse que mon aventure a commencé, avec une vidéo cassette tuteur achetée là-bas et des pièces pour faire fonctionner la cornemuse que j'avais reçu en cadeau de ma famille l'été d'avant. Je me suis joint au corps de cornemuses et tambour du 78ième Fraser Highlanders de Québec à ses début en 2002 mais j’ai ensuite quitté pour me concentrer sur Crépuscule, mon groupe de musique traditionnelle écossaise dans lequel j'y joue différentes cornemuses.
Je suis heureux d'être de retour avec le 78ième Fraser depuis 2010. Faire parti d'un pipeband est un incontournable pour tout joueur de grande cornemuse écossaise.
Self taught musician, I'm passionate with all things related to any kind of bagpipes. It began in March 2000 after a trip to Scotland, where I bought a tutor videocassette and some bagpipe parts to repair one that was given to me by my familly the summer before.
I joined the 78th Fraser Highlander pipeband at it's begining in 2002, but had to quit to concentrate on Crépuscule, my traditional scottish music band in which I play different kind of bagpipes.
I'm glad to have come back to the 78th Fraser in 2010. To be part of a pipeband for a highland bagpiper is a must.

Je suis le "token Scot" dans le groupe du nord de l'Écosse, qui a eu la chance d'être affecté à Québec dans mon travail. J'ai commencé à jouer de la cornemuse à l'âge de 10 ans enseigné par feu PM John D Burgess. J'ai cessé de jouer à l'âge de 18 ans. À 50 ans, j'ai renouvelé ma passion pour jouer de la cornemuse en rejoignant le régiment en janvier 2017 et j'aime vraiment faire partie d'un groupe de cornemuse à nouveau.
I am the token Scot in the band from the north of Scotland, who has been lucky to be assigned to Quebec City in my work. I started playing pipes when I was 10 years old, tutored by the late PM John D Burgess, and last played when I was 18 years old. On my 50th birthday I renewed my passion for playing the pipes by joining the regiment in January 2015 and I really enjoy being part of a pipe band again.
